Police arrest ‘No. 7 train’ pervert

The police have arrested a man for allegedly squeezing the buttocks of a woman at the Queensboro Plaza subway station yesterday.

On Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 10:40 am, Andres Lara, 25, allegedly approached a 27-year-old woman on the platform of the Manhattan bound “7” train at the Queensboro Plaza stop, grabbed her buttocks and then fled the station. There were no reported injuries.

Lara has been arrested for “forcible touching.”

The police were quick to identify– and then arrest– Lara after his photo was distributed via NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
