Police Looking for Creep Who Allegedly Took Photos Up Straphanger’s Skirt on E Train

Oct. 29, 2021 By Allie Griffin

Police are looking for a pervert who allegedly took photos up a woman’s skirt on board a Queens E train earlier this month.

The man allegedly stuck his phone up the skirt — and snapped photos — of a 26-year-old woman, who was standing beside him on a northbound E train, just before 1 a.m. on Oct. 16, police said.

The woman realized what was happening when she felt the phone brush her buttocks, police said. She turned and confronted the creep, who denied any wrongdoing.

He exited the train at the 36th Street station in Long Island City and fled, police said.

Police described the suspect as a Hispanic man, 40- to 60-years-old. He was last seen wearing a red shirt, blue jeans, a blue mask and black shoes.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the CrimeStoppers website at https://crimestoppers.nypdonline.org/ or on Twitter @NYPDTips. All calls are strictly confidential.
