Man walks into Court Square Diner, takes cash

A man walked into the Court Square Diner on Monday and helped himself to some cash, according to police.

The man was caught on surveillance tape sneaking in the unlocked side door at the 45-30 23rd St. location about 11:50 a.m.

The suspect, who came during the lunchtime rush hour, made off with $6,000.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
