A free carnival for the entire family will take place in Long Island City tomorrow.

The LIC Community Carnival, sponsored by the New City Church, will run on Oct. 6 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Hunters Point South Park along the Long Island City waterfront.

The event, running since 2013, includes over 30 staple carnival games, activities and prizes, large inflatables like bouncy houses, and more. Face painting, balloon artists, and crafts are also part of the festivities.

This year’s event will take on a “space odyssey” theme.

The popular event typically sees around 1,000 participants over the course of the day.

Patrick Thompson, lead pastor at New City Church, says the event is meant to create a neighborhood gathering for people to connect.

“One of our core values of our church is to be an expression of grace to our neighborhood, so we try to find ways to give a gift to our neighborhood,” Thompson previously told the LIC Post.

The carnival takes place at the park between 50th and 54th Avenue on Center Boulevard, with a rain date for the event scheduled for Oct. 7 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
