Van Bramer kicks off school supply drive

Councilman Jimmy Van Bramer (D-Sunnyside) launched his eighth annual back-to-school supply drive this week.

From Aug. 8 through Sept. 5, residents are being asked to donate backpacks, notebooks, pencils, crayons, calculators and rulers. The items can be dropped off at Van Bramer’s District Office at 47-01 Queens Boulevard (Suite 205) or at any of the Queens Library branches in his western Queens district.…
