Show Palace, the strip club known for its fully-nude dancers, closed down on Friday by court order due to alleged prostitution at the site.
A sign posted by the NYPD outside the strip joint, located at 45-20 21st St., show the court order was issued by the Queens Supreme Court on Jan. 19. A restraining order was also posted, noting that prostitution was taking place on the site. The word “prostitution” has since been etched over.
The club’s closing comes one month after the NYPD’s Vice Unit arrested five people on prostitution charges at the location, just one of several problems the club has faced since opening in 2012, which have included shootings, illegal drug use, and cases of harassment and assault.
The club has also operated without a liquor license since its opening, with the State Liquor Authority repeatedly denying a license to the locale due to its history and Long Island City’s continuing growth in population.
Show Palace’s operator, who also runs Sin City in the Bronx, will have to go to court to re-open the strip joint.
Senator Michael Gianaris (D-Astoria) applauded Show Palace’s closure.
“The closure of Show Palace is an important and hard-fought success for our community,” he said on Facebook. “Thanks to the NYPD and the Queens District Attorney for continuing to protect our neighborhoods. I will remain vigilant in case this establishment attempts to reopen.”

I love the signs at this place. I have tried to convince a few girlfriends to take pictures in front but no one has yet

So, you admit you know Cinnamon though? Suspicious.
This would be a perfect spot to open a music venue that could have live music 7 days a week. No immediate residential neighbors to complain about the noise. That would be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.
If you think there is money to be made go for it OAR!
I agree live music would be great but I want the musicians to be nude. That’s a big part of why I always liked this place.
What a troll
What me and Cinnamon did together was a private consensual transaction between two adults, nothing criminal about it.
Totally… legalize Liberty.
