Chipotle to open its Jackson Avenue location Sept. 24.

Chipotle

Sept. 2, 2016 By Hannah Wulkan

Chipotle Mexican Grill will open its first location in Long Island City by the end of the month.

The Mexican food chain will open the store on the ground floor of a luxury apartment building at 26-14 Jackson Avenue on September 24.

“We chose this location because we have done well in surrounding areas and we think we will do well here too,” a spokeswoman for the company wrote in an email.

The LIC location will serve the full Chipotle food menu, but it has yet to be determined whether it will offer beer, wine and margaritas, like many of its other locations.

The LIC restaurant will employ between 25 and 30 people, and those interested in working at Chipotle can apply on the company website.

The restaurant will be open from 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

This will be the fourth Chipotle in Queens, with the others located in Jackson Heights, Forest Hills, and the Queens Center Mall.

Alright, kids. Let’s knock it off. I am the true, the one and only MR. LIC! I can prove it! Just ask me any question about LIC and I will make your head spin.

This post is a fake. I am the real MRLIC and the September 6, 6:35 post is mine. I don’t know why this guy continues to post under my name. I believe it is very disturbing to everyone on this board. Clearly, I am the real MRLIC. By the way, Mother quite enjoyed your visit the other day; thanks for sending me out to pick up that ice cream! It was unfortunate that the lock on the door jammed when I got back, but Mother seemed to have really enjoyed your visit anyway.

Sad like your mother when I laid flesh in her rear. Or sad like your father when I refused to do the same to him?

No, sad like someone who is home posting on local news forums at 9:10pm on a weekend night. Enjoy that thrilling life you must have.

Your mom says hi. You may want to buy her one of those donut things, her butt is going to be sore for a while. If you play your cards right, I’ll sprinkle a little magic in you too.

Sorry “Re MRLIC parody”, I was being insensitive. You don’t have a father right? Don’t give up hope, I’m sure any one of the dozen men that could be your father will surface.

Fastfood restaurants will effectively be peopleless vending machines in short time. No opinion on whether that is desirable for the hood. However, seems like we should plan and decided what our hood should be like, rather than just let whatever happens happens.

Time for the truth: I am completely unbalanced and I have multiple personalities. Unfortunately, several of my personalities woke up on the wrong side of their beds today and MRLIC needs someone to come bail him out of central. Just wait til I get my hands on MRLIC.

True… MRLIC, I’ve had my fun and now it’s time to stop. You’ve been a good sport through all the BS I shoveled your way. I am not the only MRLIC fake but there will be one less voice going forward.

I can’t use my food stamps at this establishment. This isn’t fair to people like me who need the welfare from others. I don’t feel I should need to work like everyone else to get the same benefits. Shame on you, Chipotle

ahhhh so they arrive one by one…Sensitive pricks hiding under anonymous as you see from the “Greenpoint Fish Market” post, might begin another breakdown rant. But THIS is exactly what I’m talking about. The failures of other restaurants to do something that actually ATTRACTS customers not just within LIC, but across New York has now brought in the franchises. And don’t give me none of that “its tough out there” crap…If restaurants like John Brown BBQ and the waterhouse can survive and actually expand from a dump of a location, so can the rest. People make treks to come to John Brown. Nothing fancy just good ole bbq. Drop this brunch and chactucuire nonsense..Bring real food or this is only the beginning. Expect a Mcdonalds in Central Blvd soon.
