A winter market is set to take place in the Court Square area this Saturday.

The “All Misfits Welcome Here” winter market will showcase wares from more than 40 local vendors on Dec. 7 at The Local Hostel, located at 13-02 44th Ave.

The event, which will run from noon to 7 p.m., is being put on by the Local Project — a Long Island City-based non-profit art organization.

Local art and handmade goods will be for sale, including illustrations, Christmas ornaments, jewelry, stationery, records and ceramics among other goods.

It’s the third year Local Project has organized the event. The winter market was started by the group as a way to “provide a platform for artists, artisans, and the community to come together to support the arts and to buy local,” according to a statement by the organization.

Hosting the event at The Local Hostel will also allow vendors to expose their goods to an international audience, as well as provide shoppers with access to a full-service bar and café.
