Police are looking for a Black man who punched a 69-year-old store employee in the face inside a bodega near Queensbridge Houses last month (NYPD)

Sept. 12, 2022 By Christian Murray

The police released a video Monday that features a crazed shoplifter sucker punch a 69-year-old bodega worker in the face inside a store located by NYCHA Queensbridge Houses.

The suspect entered the bodega, located at 21st Street and 40th Avenue, at around 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 8, before stuffing his front pocket with a food item.

The bodega worker and another individual managed to stop the man from shoplifting and recovered the item. When they put the item back on the shelf, the suspect punched the 69-year-old from behind—knocking him to the floor. The suspect then fled the scene.

The victim was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital Queens in stable condition.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). Poor acting on the the theifs part. He walks in like he’s peed his pants. Then after the sucker punch he walks fine.

All the progressive and socialist dems must be furious that the bodega workers stopped a guy from stealing b/c he was obviously hungry.

Seems like the majority of the suspects in the violent crimes are black. Any ideas what is going on?
