Nov. 16, 2012 Staff Report

The No. 7 train service between Times Square-42nd Street and Queensboro Plaza stations will not be in operation this weekend (Nov. 17-19). This will go into effect at 12:01 a.m. on Saturday to 5 a.m. on Monday.

The MTA said that the service disruption represents the continuation of its work in the Steinway Tunnel, which the No. 7 train uses between Queens and Manhattan.

A special fare-free shuttle bus service will operate between the Vernon-Jackson and Queensboro Plaza Stations while the service diversion is in effect.
