A new yoga studio opened in Long Island City earlier this month.

Form + Flow opened at 27-01 41st Ave. on Sept. 3 and founder Shelly Yang says that the studio is about 1,200 square feet and operates seven days per week.

The studio is open from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. and from 5 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. on weekdays. There are also a number of classes that take place on weekends.

Classes typically last between 45 and 75 minutes.

There is room for 25 people per class and the cost varies depending on the time of day. For instance, an off-peak lesson costs $18, while a peak class costs $24. There is also a new customer special of three classes for $33.

The studio does offer monthly deals. It costs $160 for a monthly pass providing access to unlimited sessions, while a three-month package can be bought for $450.

The studio also offers private events and corporate packages.

Yang said that she set up the studio in Long Island City because she is passionate about yoga and there are few studios in the area.
