Michelin Guide takes note of Casa Enrique, Alobar & John Brown Smokehouse

The Michelin Guide released its 2014 restaurant booklet and Casa Enrique, Alobar and John Brown Smokehouse (10-43 44th Drive)were among the picks for the best value for money.

These three restaurants were the only Long Island City restaurants to receive what’s known as Michelin’s “Bib Gourmand” award, a highly-coveted prize. The guide, for this award, evaluates restaurants for excellence on a budget (defined as two courses and wine or dessert for $40 a head).
