May 6, 2019 By Meghan Sackman

Police are searching for a man wanted in connection to a stabbing that took place inside a deli located near Queensbridge Houses on Friday.

The suspect entered the 21st Street Deli, located at 40-35 21 St., on May 3 around 5:53 p.m. when he pulled out a knife and stabbed a 19-year-old man once in the torso.

Police sources say that the two men didn’t know one another prior to the incident and the stabbing stemmed from an argument.

EMS responded and transported the victim to a nearby hospital in stable condition.

The suspect is described as male, black, in his twenties, and has a slim build.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
