The Long Island City Partnership will host its fourth annual “LIC Springs” Community Festival this Saturday.
The event will take place on Vernon Boulevard, between 50th and 46th Avenues, from 12 to 5 p.m.
Organizers are expecting a turnout of about 10,000 people, with activities including live music, dance, theater performances, art and sculpture-making, fitness classes, sports games and more. There will also be eating contests for adults and kids.
Many of the restaurants located on Vernon Blvd. will offer outdoor dining.
Local restaurants, shops, cultural institutions, artists and community organizations will be participating.
