Police are looking for a knife-wielding man who allegedly robbed and groped a woman on an M train in Long Island City Friday.

The alleged pervert approached a 24-year-old woman while she was riding a northbound M train as it was pulling into the 36th Street Station at around 8:35 a.m., according to police.

The suspect displayed a knife and demanded her property, police said.

The woman complied and handed over her cell phone and $50 cash, the NYPD said.

The assailant then grabbed the victim’s breasts over her clothing. He then exited the train at the 36th Street station and fled to parts unknown, police said.

Police released images of the man wanted for questioning.

The suspect is described as having a light complexion and a heavy build. He was last seen wearing a navy-colored hoody, jeans, black sneakers and a baseball cap.

The victim was not injured during the incident, police said.

On paper maybe. But it’s not “moderate” to release violent criminals back on to the streets now is it, JD? It’s the new normal to check the news and see that someone has been arrested for a violent crime and the suspect almost always has prior arrests…often times 30+. That is not moderate, regardless of what the politician tells you on paper.
