Elmhurst Man Arrested For Public Lewdness on E train in Long Island City: NYPD

An Elmhurst man has been arrested for allegedly masturbating in front of a woman on a subway train in Long Island City earlier this month.

Fnu Kamruzzaman was riding a Jamaica Center-bound E train on Jan 5. at around 8:20 p.m. when he began pleasuring himself in front of a 56-year-old woman as the train approached the Court Square subway station, according to police.

Kamruzzaman, 30, who is from 81st Street, was arrested on Jan. 13 and charged with public lewdness, police said.

Police released an image of Kamruzzaman taken at the 71st – Continental Avenue subway station after the incident.
