A cab driver was robbed at gunpoint by a passenger in Long Island City last month, according to police.

The victim picked up the alleged perpetrator at 46th Street and 5th Avenue at around noon August 30 before driving him to 45th Road and 23rd Street. When the yellow cab stopped, the suspect threatened the driver with a gun and demanded money, according to police.

The cab driver complied. There were no reported injuries.

Police have released a photo of the suspect.
