A 27-year-old man was stabbed on a subway train Wednesday as it was pulling into a Long Island City subway station.
The victim was attacked after getting into an argument with the alleged perpetrator onboard a Manhattan-bound F train as it approached the 21st Street-Queensbridge station around 2:34 p.m., police said.
The suspect stabbed the victim in the chest and fled. The victim was not seriously injured, and refused medical attention at the scene.
Cops were able to track down the suspect and arrested Ramel Bain, 34, of Brooklyn. He has been charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
The stabbing is the second violent incident to occur at the subway station within two weeks.
On Monday, May 24, an Asian man was shoved onto the tracks by a stranger in what police are investigating as a possible hate crime. The victim was helped back onto the platform by bystanders and suffered a minor injury to his forehead.

Democrats Schumer and AOC talk about Helping criminal s who are nentally ill. The Mayoral Democratic Candidates want to defund police. All want to keep NYC a sanctuatmry city for Illegal Immigrants to come here. Not one talks about the Insane Cuomo /Albany Democras passing the INSANE NO BAIL LAW IN JAN 2020,
Decriminalizing over 400 crimes that usef to require bail be posted. Putting criminals back on the street within. A day. Cops having to arrest them over and ovet. This us the Democratic Socialist vision for the future. I am cmvoting Republican for change to a better NYC and State.
