Blue Nail Spa, the latest in a series of nail salons to open in Hunters Point, opened today.
The salon, located at 48-13 Vernon Blvd, has taken the 1,000 square foot space that was previously occupied by State Farm Insurance.
Workers at the store said that they had a number of opening-day specials. The following is the standard price list.

Be prepared to be nickle and dimed. $2 extra for glitter polish because it’s “special”. C’mon! I have been getting my nails done for years and have never heard such ridiculousness! $2 is not much, but it’s the principal.
Why does it look like it is still under construction?
