The trash piles around Queens Plaza South and Crescent Street are getting larger and larger, despite the ongoing development and the gentrification of the neighborhood.
PIX 11 News did this illuminating report on the issue over the weekend.

I take it a posher strip club would be outside the box?
it’s a real pity too because a lot of the new buildings are quite posh, if they got rid of the strip club on queens plaza north that would go quite a ways in making the area better
what do you expect from that part of LIC?? it’s nothing new ~ and the rest of us have to pay.
As a resident of the neighborhood…I can’t wait until the owners get cited or the city decides to send over a cleaning crew to take care of that problem. One would think that the Comfort Inn on that block would take the initiative and just clean it up, as it is their current hotel guests that look at the area right when they step out of their building. This would lead to negative reviews on hotel rating sites. CLEAN IT UP FOR GOSH SAKES! IT’S AN ABSOLUTE MESS AND GIVE THE NEIGHBORHOOD A TERRIBLE REPUTATION!!
