Suspect at HSBC, when the Long Island City robbery occurred

The police are seeking a man who has robbed five banks throughout Queens including a bank in Long Island City.
The perpetrator allegedly robbed the HSBC Bank branch located at 22-15 43rd Ave. on Aug. 20 at 1:50 pm. The police said he entered the bank, displayed a handgun and passed a note to the bank teller demanding money. The teller complied and handed him an undisclosed sum of money.
The suspect hid the handgun inside a newspaper or his waistband– prior to making his demand.
The perpetrator used the same method to rob two banks in Jackson Heights, one in Middle Village and another in Astoria
The policed describe the man as a male, black-Hispanic, 25-35 years, 5’08”-6’00” in height and 180 lbs-200 lbs.
On the day he robbed the HSBC branch in LIC, the suspect wore a blue shirt, jeans, sunglasses and a NY Yankees baseball cap.
