Suspect wanted for an alleged bias attack on a 7-train last month (Photo NYPD)

The police released a photo Saturday of a man who allegedly punched a 42-year-old Hispanic woman in the face—in an apparent bias attack–on a Manhattan-bound 7 train last month.
The suspect allegedly approached the woman on the 7 train at around 3:40 p.m. on Saturday July 2 as it approached the Court Square–23rd Street station.
Without provocation, the man allegedly made anti-Hispanic remarks and then proceeded to punch the woman in the face.
The suspect exited the train at the Hunters Point train station, according to police. The woman sustained minor injuries.
The incident is being investigated by the NYPD’s Hate Crime Task Force.

The article does not say much about the criminal. He appears to be a person of color.

Not Columbo , just observing what the descriptin is lacking as another commenter said about the descriiption missing the skin color. Wake up and stop being critical of something that could help in apprehending the suspect.
Yes, why so long to release the video. Maybe because the cops have not caught him and can’ t sweep this under the rug so the $3,000 a month luxury apt. renters fell safe. NYC is not safe. LIC area crime is up 40%. Citywide 34%. That should tell you something about how safe LIC is.

I believe it was the NYPD crime stats un the NY Post or on LIC Post.
