A 62-year-old man was randomly stabbed on a Manhattan-bound 7 train in Long Island City Friday morning.

The victim, police said, was stabbed in the face and hand by a suspect as the train was pulling into the Queensboro Plaza subway station at around 8:40 a.m.

Police say the suspect stabbed the man for no apparent reason and then fled on foot when the train stopped at the station.

The victim was transported by EMS to Elmhurst Hospital in stable condition, police said.

The suspect is described as being in his 30s, and was last seen wearing a button-down shirt and black shorts.

No arrests have been made and the incident is still under investigation.

The MTA tweeted that the stabbing caused some delays to southbound 7 trains.

Luckily he wasn’t what you racist liberals call ” Asian” or then it would be a hate crime. Right now, it’s no big deal.

Love the fashion report on the suspect. Was he a little old Irish guy or are you tired of saying what race he is? Look at the papers and the news of who’s running through the streets of every boroughs and even long Island.

Very similar tp thpe citywide average. The hammer attack on E train Q.Plaza entrance steps, Buttocks of girl grabbed at Cpirt Sq. Station., Good samaritan beaten with own hockey stick on E Train near Court Sq. Crime is here ladies & Gentleman. Keep voting for Democratic Socialists who want to defund police and DA’ s who won’ t prosecute criminals like Alvin Bragg, Eric Gonzalez, Darcel Clarke. Also
the Dem.Socialists will keep most of the criminals out of jail nack on the street to rob and assault , rape and kill. I am voting Republican up and down the ballot.
