Sep. 2, 2020 By Michael Dorgan

Police are searching for two men who burglarized a storage facility in Long Island City on Monday and took $13,000 worth of tools.

The suspects allegedly drove up to the 35-00 Review Ave. facility on Aug. 31 just before 1 a.m., police said. The pair then got out of their SUV and cut through the locks of a gate with a saw.

One of the men then opened the gate while the second individual drove the vehicle into a parking lot at the facility.

Once inside the lot, the pair stole the tools from a Mac Tools truck, police said.

The suspects then fled the scene in an unknown direction, cops said.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.

Cops released CCTV footage of the pair while they were at the facility.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
