47-Year-Old Man Reported Missing from Long Island City

Police are searching for a 47-year-old man who was reported missing from Long Island City Saturday.

Steven Collado was last seen at the Days Inn Hotel, located at 31-36 Queens Blvd, on Saturday at 5:30 p.m.

He is described as Hispanic, 5’10” and 180 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, black sweatpants and black sneakers.

Anyone with information in regard to his whereabouts is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). Queens Defenders founder charged with stealing nonprofit funds as second scandal unfolds

The founder of the Queens Defenders and her husband have lawyered up after they were indicted by a federal grand jury for allegedly stealing tens of thousands of dollars from the non-profit organization.

Former Queens Defenders executive director Lori Zeno, 64, surrendered Wednesday at the Brooklyn federal courthouse. Zeno was arraigned on an indictment charging her and Rashad Ruhani, 55, with wire fraud conspiracy, theft, money laundering conspiracy and other crimes.
