Police Looking For Man Who Shot Off Gun Inside Queensbridge Houses

Police are looking for a man who shot off a gun several times inside Long Island City’s Queensbridge Houses.

The man discharged the gun several times inside 41-17 Vernon Blvd. at 1:34 a.m. on March 14, police said.

Police said no one was hurt — and there were no reported injuries as a result of the incident.

The man fled the building in an unknown direction.

I grew up in the Ravenswood Houses in the 1960s and 70s and Queensbridge has never changed. Sad, disgusting or both.

Isnt this a normal form of recreation there. Better they discharge firearms there than into someone else’s house or in the trying to be peaceful Astoria community.
