NYPD

Aug. 19, 2019 By Shane O’Brien

The police are looking for a man who punched a subway rider in the back of the head onboard a 7 train last month.

The incident took place after a dispute broke out between the suspect and a 43-year-old man as the 7 train approached Court Square at 7:10 p.m. on Sunday, July 21.

The suspect then punched the man in the back of the head before the man grabbed the suspect’s hair, putting an end to the attack.

The victim left the train at Court Square where he refused medical attention, while the suspect remained onboard.

The suspect was pictured by a subway rider as he left the train and was observed to be black with short dreadlocks.

He was last seen wearing a gray sleeveless top with gray shorts.

Anyone with information in regard to the identity of this male is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the CrimeStoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or on Twitter @NYPDTips.

Leave pat alone. He has just as much as a right to express his opinion as they do to their ghetto appearance.

Exactly. These kinds of people jeopardize the safety of those who wish to make progress in their lives. These people should not be around developing children.

Imagine what would have happened if Caban has won being DA! The suspect would be misunderstood. I don’t care for Katz at all, but after hearing Caban’s view of excused crimes, Queens is lucky not to have her representing the law abiding citizens of Queens.
