Swap Your Used Books at M. Wells Steakhouse This Weekend to Benefit Friends of Court Square Library

May 15, 2018 By Nathaly Pesantez

A free book swap and membership drive will take place this Saturday to benefit a local library group.

Attendees are asked to bring their piles of gently-used books to M. Wells Steakhouse, located at 43-15 Crescent St., to swap for other books, all while learning about the Friends of Court Square Library—the community group that provides financial support to the library.

The group will provide food, drinks, and reusable book bags from the Queens Library to attendees.

Books that don’t make their way to a new owner at the event will be donated to Queens Library.

Those interested in attending should register via Eventbrite. For more information on the Friends of Court Square Library, including membership fees and activities, visit their Queens Library page or Facebook group.

The book swap and membership drive will take place on May 19 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
