LIC Flea & Food, the waterfront outdoor market and beer garden, will be opening for a sixth season this weekend.

The weekend market will open on May 12 and May 13 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at its usual 5-25 46th Ave. location. From there, the market will return every month for one weekend until mid-October.

This year will see about 60 vendors selling a range of products like antiques, art, furniture, jewelry, arts and crafts, and more, according to Elizabeth Aloni, a spokesperson for the Sschneps Communications, the organizers of the market.

The event also sees dozens of vendors offering a variety of foods like burgers, empanadas, pastries, and oysters.

LIC Flea & Food also features a large beer garden serving beer from local breweries and beyond.

“It’s right on the water,” Aloni said. “It’s a really lovely place to spend on weekends.”

Attendees at the first LIC Flea &Food event can also RSVP for a chance to win $100 in “Flea Bucks”, to be spent at the flea market. Those interested can register via Eventbrite.

The organizers are also launching an Astoria component to the Flea & Food market beginning May 19 at the backlot of Kaufman Astoria Studios. The Astoria Flea hours are from 6 p.m. to midnight on Saturday, and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

May 12/13 LIC
June 9/10 LIC
4th of July – LIC
