The police have released video footage of a man who walked into a Long Island City warehouse earlier this month and took off with a Rolex watch, $3,000 in cash and a company check book.
The alleged thief entered Penta Restoration, located at 24-11 41st Ave., through an open stairwell door on Sunday, March 4 at approximately 7:45 a.m. He then went to the third floor where he stole the watch and cash, police said.
The suspect is described as black and was seen wearing a black track suit.

Unfortunately our local Councilman invited people on probation from prison to clean the neighborhood. We also have two high schools nearby. Tough kids who thieve try all doors. We all have to toughen up now. Wouldn’t want to get back from lunch break to walk in on an intruder.
I really can’t understand how videos like this don’t implicate suspects 100% of the time.
Crime is down isn’t it Mr. DumBlasio. LIC seems to be seeing more and more burglaries.
Gentrification. When you see a neighborhood where people are paying at least $3000 per month for a studio, it’s assumed that’s where the money is. The divide between the rich and poor is so great now- didn’t DeBlahsio promise to fix that? He’s only helped to make it worse.
