A dessert festival is heading to Long Island City next month in a four-day event featuring over 20 sweets vendors.
Dessert Goals, the name of the fest, will take place at the Sound River Studios on 44th Drive on March 17 and 18, and again the following week on the 24th and 25th.
Vendors will sell everything from cakes and cake pops, chocolates, pies, macaroons, cruffins (croissant muffins), liquor-infused ice cream, cotton candy, milkshakes, and more.
An “Instagram Garden” will also be at the event for attendees to play in and set up glossy photoshoots with their desserts.
The organizers, who have set a “Spring Disco” theme to the event, will also set up a savory salt bar designed to cleanse the palette between sweets.
Tickets went on sale yesterday, and are divided by time slots beginning as early as 10 a.m. General admission tickets are priced at $17, and include access to the garden, salt bar, and complimentary water, coffee, and candy for one-and-a-half hours.
“Extra Sugar Rush” tickets are also available for $35, and allow holders to stay for two hours and receive a gift bag. The general admission features also also included in this ticket.
The event is until 6 p.m. on all days, and several general admission slots have already sold out. Many options still remain, however, until the sale ends on March 17.
Dessert Goals was first launched in 2016 by Liang Shi, a creative director, and Miraya Berke, the founder of a boutique events studio. The Long Island City event is their fourth fest, with prior locations in Brooklyn and Los Angeles.
