Police are searching for a man who allegedly stabbed a 7 train passenger in the hand after getting into a verbal dispute with him yesterday.
The incident happened at around 2:20 p.m. as the assailant and the 37-year-old victim were arguing aboard a Manhattan-bound 7 train, police said.
The arguing eventually turned into a fight, where the victim was stabbed one time in the back of his right hand with a knife by the assailant, police said.
The knife-wielding attacker then got off at the Queensboro Plaza station, according to police.
The 37-year-old victim was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in Astoria, and was given five stitches to close the laceration on his hand.
The suspect in the attack, seen in a photo released by the NYPD, is described as Hispanic, in his 40s, and was last seen wearing a purple hooded sweater, a black vest, and blue jeans.
Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). I cannot even fathom how this guy w/his pic floating all over NYC won’t be tracked down.
CRIME IS DOWN according to Mayor DumBlasio and his puppet Police Commissioner. Crime stats kept low for potential Luxury Condo/Apt. buyers and Tourists.
MRLIC- Crime is down, nobody ever said it was eliminated. You’re like a gullible broken record.
one crime committed = all crime stats are fake
great logic!
I’m glad you dislike fake crime stats that benefit luxury condo developers. Trump notably retweeted COMPLETELY FAKE crime stats about African-americans, and he’s a luxury condo developer. And yet, you voted for him; what a sheep!
