Workout Factory Reopens in New Location and Introduces State-of-the-Art Cycling Classes

July 18, 2017 By Staff Report

The Workout Factory, a Long Island City-based boutique fitness studio, reopened last month at a new location.

The studio, which closed temporarily in April, has relocated to a “modern-meets-industrial” warehouse at 5-25 46th Ave, neighboring a lot that is best known for the LIC Flea and Food Market.

The new Workout Factory location offers more than double the number of classes in a 4,000-foot state-of-the-art space.

Most notably, the new location has a dedicated room for indoor cycling and an extensive fitness room with 20-foot-high ceilings for High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), which includes Total Resistance Exercise (TRX), rowing, bootcamp, trampolines, and more.

The original Workout Factory Pilates reformer program has also moved to its own separate location under the name PilatesWorks, located at 10-91A Jackson Avenue.

Martin Kerestes and Zhana Galjasevic, a husband and wife duo, now own and operate three businesses in Astoria and LIC offering a wide range of fitness and wellness services: Workout Factory at 46th Avenue; The Yoga Room, with two yoga / mat Pilates / Barre studios in Long Island City and Astoria; and PilatesWorks on Jackson Avenue.

“We think of Workout Factory as the premier boutique fitness and spin studio in Queens,” Martin said. “Our members can take top-notch cycling and fitness classes under the same membership for a fraction of the cost of similar classes offered in Manhattan. We also have awesome, passionate instructors who will help members achieve their goals.”

Dedicated indoor cycling room

The installment of indoor cycling is the newest addition to classes Workout Factory offers.

“Our spinning classes use the most advanced Stages bikes so you will have a smooth and enjoyable ride,” Martin said. “Whether you are coming for our spin or our HIIT classes, you will have an amazing workout and a great time. Most of our old members are back, with new clients coming in every day, and our new place feels like home already.”

Workout Factory offers a range of memberships and class packages, as well as an introductory special for new clients priced at $39. For more information, readers can click here.
