The police are looking for a man who took a woman’s iPhone while he was riding a Citibike in Hunters Point this month.
The suspect approached a 25-year-old woman on Sunday, July 9, at around 3:40 pm in the vicinity of 48th Avenue and 5th Street and grabbed her phone.
The police released a photo of the suspect yesterday.

You know they cant afford to live here so thats why we have to watch them so closely.
Those citibikes can be easily stolen, a lot of their idiot customers leave them outside under the false assumption that they won’t be taken because of the security features. And when they first came out, I saw kids leaving school approach a rack and was kicking the front wheel and the bike came off with ease.
That brings up a valid point, these things should have identifiable numbers on them like a license plate.

Citi bike fees are highway robbery. This kid should steal himself a bike.
I don’t doubt that he did.
Sucks. Looks like just a kid. He has a pretty miserable life ahead of him if he starts off like this.
Glad nobody was hurt.
