Look out for pint-sized zombies rolling through the neighborhood this weekend.

For the third year in a row Make Queens Safer and Kidical Mass NYC are teaming up to host the Kidical Mass Zombie Ride, a family bike ride from Gantry Plaza State Park to Socrates Sculpture Park, with stops for trick-or-treating along the way.

The ride begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday, and will finish at Socrates Sculpture Park for its Harvest Festival, spanning roughly seven miles. It will also stop along the way for snacks at Smiling Hogshead Ranch at 25-30 Skillman Avenue in LIC, and will allow kids the opportunity to look around the space.

The Harvest Festival at Socrates will include storytelling, face painting, and a dog costume contest, among other activities.

Participating kids are encouraged to come dressed as zombies, and will have the chance to trick or treat at several local bike shops, including Spokesman Cycles, LIC Bikes and Nomad Cycles.

While the ride will have both bike and vehicle escorts from the local precincts, children should be over 7 years old and capable bike riders, according to organizers.
