An eight-story mixed-use building is planned to go up near Queensboro Bridge with the rendering having just been released.

The building, located at 42-44 Crescent Street, will be consist of ground-floor commercial space, with the remaining stories dedicated to 12-residential units, according to documents filed with the Department of Buildings.

Angela Ng & Anthony Ng Architects Studio is designing the narrow building.

New York YIMBY was the first to report the story.

Additionally, two real estate firms have joined forces to purchase two industrial buildings near Hunters Point.

GreenOak Real Estate and The Related Cos. teamed up to purchase a 168,000 square foot building

21-09 Borden Avenue

located at 21-09 Borden Ave for $62.5 million last month, according to real estate records.

The two companies are likely to convert it into premium office space, according to the Real Deal.

The firms also purchased a 108,000-square-foot building about a block away at 21-00 49th Ave, according to the Real Deal. The property was purchased for $41-million, according to city real estate records.
