Falchi Building Almost Completely Occupied After Signing Several New Leases This Year

After signing on several new commercial tenants in 2015, the Falchi Building in Long Island City is now 94 percent leased, according to a spokesperson for the building.

The Falchi Building, located at 31-00 47th Ave., is a five-story building that was built as a warehouse in the 1920s, according to the Jamestown investment and management company. Jamestown began renovating the building as a mixed-use office space in 2013.

New businesses to sign leases at Falchi this year included the Russian-based bakery Stolle Bakery, SPACES co-working office, Astoria Distilling Company, the food market Good Neighbor Queens and Uber, according to the spokesperson.

These new tenants will account for more than 60,000 square-feet of space in Falchi.

A number of other businesses that signed leases in 2014 moved in this year, including Suffolk County National Bank, Lyft and Doughnut Plant.

A handful of spaces remain available, according to the spokesperson. There are two office suites and six office suites left.

Judging by how often the Falchi Building gets mentioned on this website one would think it’s the epicenter of LIC. What gives? I’m pretty sure I don’t live near it. I also don’t see why I should care to know about it.

Exactly. Macy’s took 150,000 sq feet in the factory which neighbors the Falchi building
Our neighborhood is expanding on all fronts. Just because you don’t visit this area of Long Island city doesn’t mean it is irrelevant
Maybe you should learn more about your neighborhood and in its entirety
