A man grabbed a 61-year-old woman’s bag while she was sleeping on a subway bench in Queens Plaza earlier this month.

The woman was taking a snooze on the Mezzanine level of the Queens Plaza “E” station when a man stole her bag around 6:15 am on July 7th that contained her cellphone, jewelry and miscellaneous paperwork.

The suspect is described as a male, black, 30-35 years old, 5-foot-eight and weighing 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a blue navy V-neck sweater and light colored pants.

Police have released a photo of the suspect and are asking anyone with any information to call 1-800-577-TIPS.

If you’re stupid enough to take a cat nap in the hellhole that is Queens Plaza, you only have yourself to blame. The hayseeds living in NYC these days still think they are back home dozing on the porch swing in Peoria.

Hayseed

NYC has always been a city of people, including hayseeds, from elsewhere. It’s why the city is great. Idiot.

needless to say, taking a nap anywhere in the does not justify someone making you a victim of any crime.

this woman could have had health issues, and passed out from heat exhaustion and needed to rest. maybe she didn’t intend on taking a nap here.

what is wrong with you? This dude is clearly a whack job. he’s wearing a sweater, AND a sweatshirt in July.
