Let me know if you want to consider putting up your unit on the market. Right now would be a good time to sell:)
I am a local real estate broker, with expertise strictly on LIC ( I live here as well, 13 yrs). I can get the job done!
I sold in 5SL before, and recently set a highest sale record at Citylights bldg(diagonal from your bldg), on price/p/sq.f. basis.

The same pressures to build exist for all communities close to manhattan: jersey, Brooklyn, etc. But why does our development seem so unbalanced? (95% of 20,000 new units are rental.) Where is the new commercial space?

Oh stop it. This has all been in the planning stages for decades. Sorry if *your* view got blocked and *you* didn’t know about it.

Be thankful you had that view for as long as you did and stop focusing on yourself!

Borough President recommends approval of OneLIC Neighborhood Plan with conditions

Queens Borough President Donovan Richards announced on Monday a long list of recommendations to approve the city’s OneLIC Neighborhood Plan with conditions.

The sweeping proposal entered the city’s Uniform Land Use Review Procedure (ULURP) in April, following certification by the City Planning Commission, and aims to transform a large portion of Long Island City with new zoning rules that would create nearly 14,700 housing units—including 4,300 affordable homes—alongside 14,400 jobs, over 3.5 million square feet of commercial and industrial space and expanded access to the East River waterfront.
