Long Island City’s infamous coyote remains at large.
Yesterday morning a coyote was spotted on the roof of LIC Bar and police and workers spent most of the day trying to rescue it.
Brian Porter, the owner of LIC Bar, believed at the time that the animal had come through a window from the old Paragon Paint building.
However, by about 3 pm the coyote had fled the roof and climbed back into the old Paragon Paint building, where it was before.
Porter said Tuesday morning that there is a construction crew inside the old Paragon Paint building and they haven’t seen it.
Meanwhile, Animal Control searched the area and came up with nothing, according to a spokeswoman. No additional sightings have been reported.
“Who knows where it is,” Porter said.

He’s priced out of the hood.
Dumb NYers. This story would be amazing if that dog were a coyote, which it isn’t.
One day later and I would have said nice April Fools joke!
I saw him today wearing a pair of ACME rocket skates, chasing a road runner, just before he ran off a cliff and plummeted down.
