Police are working to identify a man who allegedly stole a wallet from a 34-year-old’s back pack at the Queensboro Plaza train station several weeks ago.

The NYPD announced yesterday that the victim was on the top platform of the station at 5 a.m. on Jan. 4, when he noticed his back pack pocket was open and his wallet was missing.

Days later, the victim noticed two unauthorized Metrocard purchases—one made just before 2 a.m. on Jan. 12, and another on Jan. 23 at around 4 a.m., according to police.

The suspect used the Metrocards to get on the BX1 and BX40 buses in the Bronx, police said.

Police describe the suspect as black, who was last seen wearing a blue jacket and a blue Yankees baseball hat.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime stoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577. All calls are strictly confidential.

I hope they catch this guy that wallet had my Scandals rewards punchcard in it and I was one hole punch away from a free dance. Also, this single isolated crime proves that all crimes stats everywhere are fake.
