Police are searching for two men in connection to a string of robberies earlier in the month, which spanned from Manhattan to western Queens.
The two suspects allegedly drove around in a white van and then impersonated police officers to pull victims over to the side of the road, according to police. They then forcibly removed their victims from their vehicles, sprayed an unknown substance in their face, and then took their property.
The first incident occurred on September 8th around 1 a.m. in front of 303 East 135th Street in Manhattan, when a 23-year-old man was pulled over and had his wallet with $300 inside stolen.

The suspects then moved on to Queens, where on September 8th around 10:30 p.m. a 55-year-old man was pulled over in front of in front of 39-25 27th Street, though he had no property stolen.
The third incident took place around 11:30 p.m. on September 8th when a 44-year-old man was pulled over in front of 39-50 Crescent Street and had his wallet taken with various credit cards and $20 inside.
The final incident occurred around 1 a.m. on September 9th at the corner of 35th Avenue and 29th Street, when a 58-year-old man was stopped and had $45 removed from his pocket.
The two suspects are described as light skinned Hispanic.
Police have released photos and video of the suspects, and anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
